New Short Story: Sins of the Father

I recently entered into my first paid short story competition, which was completely open ended. This allowed me to pull something from my archive of story ideas; a sci-fi concept that revolved around time travel and my take on how it would work. Because of the limitation on wording, I wasn't able to delve deep into the tech, but figured I'd explain my concept here.

In that universe, time travel allows someone related to an individual (however roughly) to take temporary possession of their body. They can observe events as themselves, but they cannot influence them without taking control of a past distant relative. I think I can do a lot with this story once I fully develop it one day into a novel, but as for now a short story will have to do.
